Stitch Definitions: UK Double Crochet (called Single Crochet in the US) Starting with the working loop already on the hook, insert hook into work, wrap yarn around hook and draw through work to form another loop (2 loops on hook); wrap yarn around hook and draw through both loops (leaving one loop on hook). UK Treble (called Double Crochet in the US) Starting with the working loop already on the hook, wrap yarn around hook to form a second loop before inserting the hook into the work. Wrap yarn around hook and draw through work (3 loops on hook); wrap yarn around hook and draw through first two loops; wrap yarn around hook and draw through remaining two loops (leaving one loop on hook). |
