Copper sheet suitable for experimental work such as colouring with heat and/or mild acids, and embossing. The inset picture shows a small piece embossed and coloured with balsamic vinegar.
This thickness of metal sheet is considered a bit too heavy for stitching with a sewing machine though I did manage to do it - if you want to try it at your own risk, use a strong thread and add a layer of felt or pelmet vilene under the metal to protect your machine (and fingers) from sharp edges caused by the needle holes. We sell this small size (100mm x 150mm) for you to try - we will supply larger pieces at a 'pro rata' price if required - email for further details.

Brass sheet suitable for experimental work such as colouring with heat and/or mild acids. The inset picture shows a small piece coloured with balsamic vinegar. It can also be embossed, though the brass needs a bit more pressure than the copper.
