Tyvek looks like white paper, but iron between two sheets of baking parchment and see what happens!  The material shrinks, distorts and bubbles in an unpredictable way, with some very interesting results.  The before-and-after illustration shows a paper flower cut from Tyvek; then ironed and painted.  Instructions for craft use are included.

5 x A4 sheets of 55gsm weight Tyvek.

A new product from the makers of Lutradur, Evolon Soft  is a strong, fine non-woven material.  Totally different in appearance from Lutradur, it is soft, opaque and fabric-like, similar in look and feel to a very thin, soft white suede or chamois leather.  It is a very well-mannered material, being easy to cut with scissors yet very strong and non-fraying, with a good drape, and can be stitched, glued, dyed, painted, burnt with a soldering iron....Transfer dyes work very well with this material.  The picture shows a piece of untreated Evolon Soft, and a piece that has been dyed with transfer dyes.
